Andy Simmons is an award-winning British computer artist whose works have appeared in numerous published works over the past two decades. He describes his influences as such: “My preferred works are those of English Romantic Painter styles and I have closely studied the classic works of John Constable and Joseph Mallord William Turner. I have always favoured landscapes and, in turn, studying the landscape has helped me gain the knowledge of light and contrast, which has helped me achieve a degree of realism in my work.” Trained in traditional painting, he began focusing on digital art in 1997. His artwork graces the covers of all three novels of the Dylan & Siannon trilogy. The original art is depicted below.
